Students succeed when there is structure and clear expectations. I am consistent: the layout is the same every week, the expectations are the same, and I do what I say I will do. Students know what to read, watch, turn-in, and have reminders for upcoming assignments.

The “Start Here” module of the course includes my contract with them. I list all of the things they can rely on me to do and accomplish for them.
